Crypviser Secure Messenger Proudly Releases The Stable Beta Version For Android

The STABLE release of Crypviser Secure Messenger for Android will be released tomorrow, April 16.

Be sure to read this to completion before taking any actions!

Included in this update are local security and privacy control features, performance and stability improvements, bug fixes.

Local Security

The local security features focus around the security of your files within the Crypviser Messenger. All files, photos, videos, audio, everything is encrypted within Crypvisers self contained ecosystem, running and operating completely independent from other processes within your phone. All data stored in the Crypviser Secure Messenger are protected from unauthorised access even on “rooted” Android devices!

Data usage

One very noticeable improvement is the way file transfers are handled. With this new update, the receiver of a file will be first shown the size of the file, and will be able to decided whether or not to accept it at that time. In cases where the file size is rather large, the receiver now has the option to wait until they are connected to their home wifi, thereby saving the data usage limit of their service providers contract.

Privacy Control

Screenshot Control: Notify the user if someone has taken a screenshot of their conversation.

Forward Control: Disallow others from forwarding your messages.

Message Copy Control: Disallow others from copying your messages.

Features and UI/UX Updates

The Stable Beta release includes the option to choose a custom background for your chats and choosing a custom ring tone.

Do Not Forget

You must deinstall the app before performing this update. Keep in mind you should have your QRcode and password, we can’t emphasise this enough. In order for you to keep your current user name you must have both your QRcode and password.

After updating , (reinstalling) just select the “I already have an account” option. Import or scan your QRcode, Input your password, and that’s it.

You must re-add all of your contacts, so perhaps it might be a good idea to write your contacts down before deleting the older version.

Good Times Ahead

This will be the last time you will have to Re-Install the Crypviser Secure Messenger to perform an update. Upon the final release of Crypviser Secure Messenger updating the App will be just a one tap procedure.
